Komyo Reiki is a lineage of Reiki that places strong emphasis on personal spiritual development. This workshop is well‑suited for individuals who have previously studied Western‑style Reiki, as well as those who are drawn to meditation and wish to deepen their inner journey.
Komyo Reiki, often translated as “Light Reiki,” supports the harmonizing of mind, body, and spirit, with the intention of moving toward Satori—a state of profound inner peace. If this resonates with you on a soul level, let me know.

After teaching all of my workshops solely in person, I have transitioned some of my workshops to live virtual models of learning. Same teaching, same workshop quality, but you are in the comforts of your own home. I am so excited to be able to offer both models.

Reiki Level 1 & 2 Development
This series of workshops is completed over a three‑month period. It is designed as a continuous development program for those who wish to take both levels and progress through the requirements at a steady, supported pace.
Level 1 is delivered over three weeks and focuses on self‑Reiki and personal growth. We conclude this portion with a live practical session. Following that, participants spend an additional three weeks completing Level 1 case studies before moving into Level 2, where we deepen our practice by learning the first three sacred symbols.
A follow‑up call is scheduled to check in, review progress, and offer continued support.
*Offered 3 times a year.
Next development workshop will be offered January 2027: Weekdays from 6:45-9:00 MST Offered within Canada.
These can be scheduled on weekends with minimum requirements met.
$650 for both workshops (including all workshop days and practicals)
$100 Deposit, $250 installment followed by $300 installment. More details in the registration package.

Reiki: Usui Shiki Ryoho Level l
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is based on an unseen “life force energy” that flows through us and causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to feel stress or anxiety, or worse, get sick and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. In this 8 hour class, you will learn the foundations of Reiki. After reviewing the history, we will learn the 5 Reiki Principles. These become important to integrate into our daily lives. You will also learn how to do self-reiki as well as have learn multiple types of sessions and eventually learn to do a full one hour session. If this all sounds appealing, then this is the class for you.

Reiki: Usui Shiki Ryoho Level ll
Participants must demonstrate consistent daily self‑Reiki practice, a solid understanding of Level 1 fundamentals, and completion of all required case studies. If you have previously trained with another teacher, please email me if you would like clarification regarding these expectations.

Level 2 builds on what you have learned in level 1 and introduces you to the three main Reiki symbols: empowering, mental and emotional healing and distance healing sessions. In this 8 hour class, you will review the foundations of level 1, you will learn how to incorporate these powerful symbols into your daily life, and into your sessions. These symbols can assist in deep healing. When you think of one of the symbols being the distant healing symbol...just imagine sending healing distantly or to an upcoming appointment or an exam or any other possibility! There will be 2 powerful attunements given and we will do lots of hand on work! After taking this workshop, and completing your case studies, you will become a certified Reiki Practitioner. You will be able to offer Reiki sessions to clients on a professional basis. * Pre-requisite Reiki level 1 and student
I did my Reiki course Level 1 with Vanessa in 2019, in a face-to face fashion. I was scheduled to do my Level 2 during the course of April 2020. Due to the isolation restrictions, it became impossible for both of us to proceed in person. We then agreed to do the Level 2, using a live online platform. Since Level 2 is all about distant healing, it made sense to pursue this way. I consider myself lucky to have experienced both, training and attunement, in person and also, by using the live online platform. Going through this process from the comfort of my home, not only made me more receptive to the training, it also increased my awareness of the unlimited malleability of the Reiki Energy, and set me up to truly integrate the notion of its natural capability to travel through time and space. Also, Vanessa successfully made it a vibrant, personalized experience. Using the live platform allowed for face interactions, on the spot feedbacks, and deep exchanges over the practice. The attunements were felt strongly, as they would in person. The overall experience was formative and life changing.

In this class, we deepen our connection to Reiki. In this advanced practitioner or master level you receive another 2 attunements and are taught the master symbol. This class takes all that you have been taught and takes it one step deeper. Pre-requisite Reiki level 2 and student must show evidence of practicing daily self-reiki, a solid understanding of the level 2 fundamentals and must have completed the required case studies. You will know when this time comes to want to share your knowledge with others. After working with so many clients, now you want to mentor others to enjoy this beautiful energy. We will work very closely over several months as you shadow and practice giving attunements. The actual class is 2 days and is usually taught on a one on one basis (with exceptions.) Pre-requisite Reiki level 3 and must demonstrate a solid understanding of the level 1-3 fundamentals, evidence of practicing daily self-reiki and must have completed the required case studies.
